 Following Along with Sol De Janeiro     In class on Tuesday, February 18th, we were instructed to choose a brand to look at on Brand 24. For this, I decided to follow Sol De Janeiro, a popular hair care, body care, and fragrance brand! I chose to follow this brand because I enjoy their products and felt that it was fairly well-known. Some of their most popular products are their body sprays and body lotions. Sol De Janeiro offers a broad range of scents in their products as well as a wide variety of product types. The hair care products that they sell are shampoo and conditioners, treatment masks, oils, and more. For body care, they have lotions, oils, deodorant, etc. Lastly, which I would consider to be their most sold products, their fragrances; Sol De Janeiro offers eight different scents.      On Brand 24, I looked at many different things that they offered insight on.  Super Bowl 2025 Commercial Recap    The Super Bowl is popular for many reasons: the game itself, the halftime show, delicious foods, and entertaining commercials. This year's Super Bowl was held on Sunday, February 9th, in New Orleans, Louisiana. The Philadelphia Eagles and the Kansas City Chiefs were going head to head to win that big championship ring!     The Super Bowl commercials are usually humorous, inspiring, cinematic pieces that make commercial breaks not so boring. Millions of viewers watch these commercials; therefore, it is a great opportunity for brands to air their most eye-catching advertisements. You will see celebrities, heartwarming moments, and everything in between, leading to these commercials being just as memorable as the game. The 2025 Grammy Awards Recap

Grammy Awards 2025        The 2025 Grammy Awards were held on February 2, 2025. The Grammy Award is a well-known and sought-after award as top music artists compete against other top artists. Throughout the night, we see high-end outfits, some more appealing than others (sorry Doechii), impressive performances, GlamBot features, and more.     Let's start by covering some of the top red carpet looks we saw. Chappell Roan attended the red carpet wearing a unique number by Jean Paul Gaultier. Sabrina Carpenter came in her custom JW Anderson baby blue gown.  Beyoncé  wore a custom sparkly gown done by Schiaparelli. We saw Billie wearing Prada and Taylor Swift in Vivienne Westwood with a "T" on her upper thigh. Was this "T" for "Taylor" or for "Travis"? Social Media Brand Strategies

Nutter Butter on Social Media     The sweet treat, Nutter Butter, that many of us know and love, has an interesting social media presence. As I was scrolling on TikTok recently, someone shared a post asking if anyone had recently visited the social media pages of Nutter Butter. This drew me to understand what I was missing. Naturally, I immediately went to their TikTok account and was slightly disturbed yet entertained by what I saw. Bright colors, loud sounds, and strange graphics filled the feed of the delicious cookie treat. Other creators on social media sharing the content of Nutter Butter, one link on their account, and the graphics they are choosing are all marketing tactics to get traction in their business.      When users on TikTok share posts mentioning things like "Has anyone recently looked at Nutter Butter on social media?" it spikes the interest of the viewer to visit Nutter Butter's social media accounts.
